And now we’re three!

My Ukulele Orchestra, Raunds Ukulele Orchestra, has just celebrated it’s third birthday. What an amazing achievement! I can’t believe we’ve been going for three years now and the numbers have continued to grow. We have over 30 people who come regularly and its always such a fun night. The group has continued to grow and develop ever since day one, and will continue to do so. We’ve got a few gigs lined up and a Christmas party which is set to be awesome fun. If you play the Uke, why not come and join us – drop me a line for more information.

I have a couple of ukulele pupils who are working hard at the moment and making great progress. Their idea of one lesson a fortnight seems to be working really well as it gives them loads of chance to practice in between. I am also running the next Saturday course in a few weeks – so if you’ve seen my site and are debating whether it’s worth a shot at learning (which of course it definitely is, not that I’m biased) this is your perfect chance; there’s still some places left – get in touch!

Finally, since the last post I am very proud to say my choir won the competition with the judges vote. They couldn’t fault our performance and their feedback was incredible, just goes to show how much hard work my choir put in. We’re continuing to rehearse and already got some Christmas performance dates booked in!
